Our Story | Ctrl Alt Drip — Narrative Fashion from Bangalore

The Story Behind Ctrl Alt Drip

It started in a café in Bangalore. December 2022. Messi had just won the World Cup — and two friends sat there trying to put into words what that moment felt like. Not the trophy. Not the stats. The feeling.

They asked each other: what if that feeling existed on a t-shirt? What if you could wear it?

They started sketching sport-inspired designs to capture iconic, emotionally charged moments. But in the process, they had a bigger realisation: almost no clothing exists for everyday emotional experiences. How you feel on a random Tuesday. The quiet confidence of not needing validation. The anxiety of too many open tabs. Having faith over fear. The internal, invisible stuff — the feelings that don't have words.

That realisation became Ctrl Alt Drip.

What Ctrl Alt Drip Means

The name is intentional. Ctrl Alt is the keyboard shortcut for reset and restart. Drip is streetwear for personal style. Together: reset culture through style. Every piece we make is an attempt to make the intangible wearable.

We are not a graphics brand. We are not a logo brand. We are a narrative brand — every design carries a story, an emotional reference, or a cultural moment. If it doesn't mean something, we don't make it.

What We Make

We make narrative fashion — t-shirts, sweatshirts, and collaborations — rooted in three worlds:

  • Emotional experiences — the invisible feelings of everyday life (The Overthinker, Wildflowers Don't Need Spotlights, Faith Over Fear)
  • Underground music culture — for people who find therapy in a bassline (Bass Is My Therapist, In Frequencies We Trust, Techno: Music Without Borders)
  • Social impact — every purchase contributes to stray dog rehoming in Bangalore through our partnership with The Pawsome People Project

Made in Bangalore

Every CAD piece is handcrafted in Bangalore, India. Our t-shirts use 100% cotton with water-based, plastic-free prints. Our sweatshirts are 320 GSM heavyweight fleece, embroidered (not printed), limited to 50 pieces each run.

We use seed-paper thank-you cards. Zero plastic in your order. We take quality seriously because we believe the story deserves a great canvas.

The Collaborations

We partner with artists, musicians, labels, and causes who share our belief that what you wear should mean something. Past collaborators include Pumproom Records, Mokapotguy, Nick Lima, AM Coffee, and The Pawsome People Project.
